Recycling and Waste Solutions

Professional, Reliable, Local

With a comprehensive in-house service, our waste collection vehicles can provide collection of either containers or bags, ranging from 92 litre sacks to 1,100 litre wheeled bins, as well as skips and clinical waste removal.

Our experienced waste team will listen to your requirements and offer you the most cost effective solution, using the optimum number and type of bins. We can also advise on ideas to lower your costs over time.

Our full range of recycling and waste collection products include:

  • Scheduled and one-off bin empties
  • 92 litre sacks – suitable for small businesses generating only a low amount of waste
  • 140 litre wheeled bin – our smallest type of wheelie bin, suitable for weekly collection
  • 240 litre wheeled bin – a standard domestic size, ideal for smaller businesses
  • 660 litre wheeled bin – a large bin ideal for businesses that generate higher volumes of waste
  • 1100 litre wheeled bin – the biggest type of commercial bin we offer, for recycling or refuse
  • Additional waste removed on request (for example extra waste as a result of a special event)
  • Clinical waste advice and removal
  • One off collections of bulk waste, eg white goods, carpets, tiles, etc.

All waste we collect is disposed of at a fully licenced transfer station or Energy from Waste facility. By utilising on-board weighing and collection data, we can also offer you the ability to measure recycling performance and provide waste trend analysis.

With flexible collection schedules designed to work around your business and no lengthy contracts or ‘hidden extras’ such as duty of care or administration charges, Norse can provide a low cost comprehensive solution to help you to easily manage your waste.

Recycling

Recycling dry recyclables from your general waste bin lowers its weight, reduces disposal costs and may facilitate less frequent collections. Recyclables are taken for processing at a local Material Recycling Facility (MRF). This facility offers time savings by giving you the ability to place waste materials for recycling purposes in one single container.

Materials to be recycled can include paper, cardboard, junk mail, magazines, Tetrapak, envelopes, plastic bottles, aluminium and steel cans, empty aerosol cans and aluminium foil – all of which are processed through ethical UK or European markets.
